i used this drill press in my shop for many years,very versitile tool could drill thru 2"thick steel easily. my dad figured it was 1880-1890 manufactured//finally retired from service when i got to be 48yo and bad back wouldnt allow for me to crank it any more
the scale under it was what we used to balance pistons and rods on our race engines back in the day
