I recently bought and installed an IDIDIT floor shift tilt, its a nice column but not nearly as nice as a factory column.
Here is why, I had to work on it, the horn contact got melted from a bad horn relay.

The upper shaft bearing preload is not adjustable like the factory column. The bearing is preloaded by the horn contact which is plastic, there is a very heavy spring under the horn contact that preloads the bearing, a circlip holds the pressure...very poor design. Its ridiculous they didn't just thread the shaft like GM didit (pun intended)
