i do realize you can start firing order anywhere on the cap, i prefer the factory spot and the wiring diagram you provided in the link shows the factory spot on the cap. right now its 180 out because i pulled number one plug and brought it up where the ball bearing on flywheel line up with pointer on the bellhousing on compression stroke. distributor is stuck in the block so i have it soaking right now and saturday i will get back to it and drop distributor back in the block in factory position.
