X's 2 on the 268H Comp Cam. At 600 rpm it has a very nice lope, 110 degree lobe separation and goes right to work at 1000+ rpm. It's a mild cam w/.485 lift in both valves and 218 duration both valves. PN#11-205-3, Grind # CB 268H-10 High Energy. I'm running that cam in a 69 L34 396 w/forged domes and 241 closed chambered heads. I'm running a Weiand 2P-180 aluminum high rise comparable to the Eddy Performer. That intake will out flow the heads and yet has very good street manners with a Quadrajet and 1-3/4 Hedman long tubes. The RPM intakes are a good intake if the rpm is up but the Performer will start pulling from idle. Once you get to 6 or 7K your done anyway or should be. I've been using a 2000 stall that worked great for the street. Nothing wrong with the 049 heads and with those valves and some mild porting they'll be hard to beat. And if you want to really hear that cam and make the most of the BBC sound, go 3" pipes from the collectors back.. "Old School"
