It looks like some thief wanted to have the brass and shiney stuff, but with that fire body out of the way, you'd have a neat old Cannonball style truck. Chances are it has a 503" gas engine and 5 speed OD transmission, and was probably supplied through Civil Defense. I had a 1954 model 630 that was supplied to Highland Heights, Ohio through Civil Defense. The retired chief told me it cost the village $15,000 of which half was paid by the volunteer department at that time . It had the statement of origin on it when I bought it, no title because nobody plated it . Statement of origin showed Civil Defense, Columbus Ohio, Village of Highland Heights, then Ohio Rubber owned it before me , they used it for plant fire protection as they had their own fire brigade.

But this old jewel needs to be rescued ! Where in PA. is it ?
