I should have mentioned about trying to fix it as ive seen some attempts. It usually involves some type of bracing. Some guys on here have made some posts about this with pictures. I don't do this so I didn't think about addressing it. Thanks for the link, Benny, I think that fix should work. I thought my flapper seemed kind of iffy when checked it before I put it in, but it did not appear broken. So I went ahead and installed it. Well, as you might know, it did not work, would not switch to heat if dash was selected first. Now I'll have to take it back out and try to stiffen it up. I just don't want to tear back into the dash.
