Well I put it on a stand pulled the valve covers and plugs , spotless clean inside .drained the oil it has a Chrome oil pan ,cut open the oil filter and everything looked great so new filter new oil with some good ol STP That I've always used and turned it over by hand for a good while with some marvel mystery oil in the cylinders and watching the rocker action it has more than a stock cam in it , Adjusted the basic timing and with plugs out and a set of jumper cables turned it over for a few short spurts and it all sounds perfect ! I'll start it tomorrow and run it for a bit ,Then as long as it's OK tear it all apart and re gasket it . A squirt of new paint blast the intake manifold and exhaust manifolds and she'll be ready to drop in one of my 67 short bed frames. I got lucky with this one !

Now if I could just sell a few 250's I've got ...
