Re: 3in front drop and 2in rear

Something seems off on your truck... They are always higher in the back than front if things are stock. I have a 71 GMC somebody heated and collapsed the rear coils on and it's STILL higher in the back...

Some trucks are OK with 3" springs, but some can't be aligned. If you really want to lower your truck, I would get a complete kit rather than trying to figure out what a PO cooked up. (F'd up?).

On mine I went with ECE disc conversion and 5 lug axles so that I could actually have some wheels to choose from. The drop disc spindles are the best way to get the truck down IMO. 2 1/2" then you can play with springs to get what you want. 4 1/2" on my truck.
