If I'm not mistaken, Model Years '63 - '66 had 7/16''. MY '66 and later- had the 1/2''.
Just have the machinist rebore the holes to 1/2''.
L6 292 had 6 bolts and 3 dowel pins. L6 250/230s had 6 bolts and one dowel pin.
