Hey there folks -
Sorry to dredge this one yet again, but I stumbled on the thread looking for info on my own ignition switch woes. The info here has already been helpful, as luckily, I appear to have one of these aftermarket switches already...oh goody!
The issue is that my connector...the molded plastic plug w/ cavities for the series 56 terminals...has seen better days. At some point under the PO, a couple of the cavities melted due to excessive heat/amperage. As I'm replacing the harness in my '65 at this point, I'd love to replace this piece, along with a few other older connectors. I've found most everything I need, minus this ignition connector. Search the 'nets as I might, it seems this piece has not made it into anyone's repro/repop inventory.
Has anyone ever come across a source, other than scouring the boneyards?
