well i was wandering around on craigslist yester day and i found a 85 chevy with a 6.2 and a 700 r4 for like 900 dollers well it sparked my intrest... been looking around found the banks turbo kit and other little odds and ends for more power and stuff but i want to hear yalls opinion on the 6.2 diesel. ive heard a lot of stuff about them like they are good on gas and stuff but my dad has told me they were like a 305 in the power department.
so... were they good engines?
whats the mileage potential of a 6.2?
can i get a decent amount of power out of the engine?
how reliable are they?
im not looking a tow rig couse i already have one of those im just keeping my options open for a "next project"
