I made a dash out of an old glove box door. I dont have pics in the computer right now. I used hole saws also. And as Joey AP stated, you need to route 'em out to fit nice and tite. At the time I mentioned that Autometer could make a killing if they came out with a set of holesaws to fit their guages
!! I dont know where they come up with the diameters for those things.
