I probably will end up clear coating it. The shop next door has a paint sprayer setup. We don't have a booth, but I'm sure we can make it work as it doesn't have to be perfect.

I wish I would have thought of the beer keg idea. That would have worked perfect, and so easy too! I could have just tig welded in the correct fittings and an aluminum filler neck as well. It probably would have cost less than the plastic one I picked up. I have connections at a couple of breweries so that definitely would have been the way to go. Where was your wisdom 3 days go?
