Re: Brake lines

I think I might finally be able to buy some brake lines soon! As some of you might remember I went back and finished school and now me and my wife both are teachers. I'm a 1st grade and she's 4th. It's going to be nice to be on same schedule lol my contract goes into affect this month and I'm making a little wish list.

Over the last couple of months I bought and started the cab corners, last rust area to fix!!, and I have acquired the wiring tools you guys recommended too. Id like to run brake lines in my next big step.

I'd really like to do this myself, and in my searching I came across people mentioning nickel alloy as being easier to deal with. Comments? Should I stick with steel? 3/16?

Things you guys mentioned before...

Measure with bend in mind.
Practice bending and flaring, I have some old line.
I can use flexible line from MC to prop valve. I want to mount it like in first pic or like miraclepieco.
Buy hold downs with rubber.

I miss anything?
