I have to agree with the preheating before laying down the VHT paint, though if you look at my Pontiac link, I tossed my exhaust manifold into the oven at 500* and shot it hot. Laid down almost the whole can on it per the advice from the fellow who did the custom muffler work for me and so far I am very pleased with the way it is holding up.

Just my .02 cents worth on top of Dudes

Great and fast build... I am hoping my son will get bit by the bug and he and I will do a build like these some summer soon....
