Wow, it's all in what you want. If you have the skills and deep pockets the sky is the limit. You can build it either way. I have a 4x4 72 Blazer now. Just sold a 71 two wheel drive Jimmy. Love driving them both topless. The two wheel drive was a much smoother ride but the Blazer is completely original and is my keeper. If the Jimmy didn't need everything redone I would have kept it. But I going to be retiring and relocated in a couple years and I can't keep them all. Good luck with which ever way you decide to go with your project. You can't go wrong either way.
