Has anyone here done a Power steering conversion on the 1964-66 trucks?
What did you use to do it?
How did you like who it turned out??
I put a 71 front crossmember in my 64, and used a Captainfab PS bracket . Worked out really well and aligned up perfectly.
Details and pictures are in my build thread "Bubba's recyling project" 60-66 build section.
I am very pleased with the way it turned out, and it drives wonderfull.
Recommending you put the disc brakes on also , you will not regret it.
Captainfab makes a quality product and it is easily installed to use the newer style 70s gearbox.
PS> find a sway bar off a mid 70s truck- It improves the cornering tremendously and takes away the "push" and "roll".
