I see one out of a 94 DOdge pickup . It is attached to a slant 6. Would that work?

No, you need one out of a GM. They were used from 1955- early 70's with the ones before 1965 having non synchro first (4 bolt side cover) and the ones after having a synchro first (7 bolt side cover).
