So in the fall I put some old AFR heads I had and a thumper cam in the old blazer. After I got it all together I took it out for a ride and my nice new 2004r trans let go. Seems the 2nd gear band delaminated. Figured while it was out getting fixed I would do a few things. I am doing patch panels in the rear quarters from the parts blazer I bought. Picked up a nice rust free 68 front clip. Also went ahead and got porterbuilt setups for bagging it. All the bag stuff is out getting powder coated. As said on here numerous times, Nate is great to work with and very fast to respond. I have not seen to many folks post up adding the notch on a 2wd K5, so I will try to keep up with pics as I go.
