FINALLY!! After measuring what felt like a million times and taking multiple days adjusting and re measuring I finally got the motor mounts in. Got the holley 302-2 pan on and it clears just right. Looks like my headers should work fine. Only problem I had was I had to notch the big aluminum ac bracket on the bottom to clear a rack and pinion line.
Was gonna buy a universal trans crossmember but I figure why not save a hundred bucks and just fab one up. Wont be too pretty but oh well.
