What year 7.3 are you wanting? A powerstroke or an older IDI? The main reason everyone chooses a 12 valve is for several reasons. Very reliable, easy to fit into a variety of vehicles, cheaper to mod, and great fuel mileage. You can do a 7.3 but dollar for dollar a 12 valve will be the more economical choice.
