My K20 was my DD for more than 40 years until I retired. After 20 years, in 1997, the front springs were sagging enough to bottom out often (about 1" from the bumpstops) and I replaced them with 2.5" Softrides which are still on the truck. Personally, I would not want 4" springs on my DD. As it is, my wife struggles to get in & out of the truck, and if it was any taller I'd have to put running boards on it, which I would never do.
