The job shouldn't be too hard. Just pull the motor and tranny all in one pull and replace seals, gaskets and bearings. Put the engine back together and pressure wash it, blast it and paint it. Install it back in. Sounds simple enough! I will eventually start building a 383 Stroker. The reason I am going to do that last is because the truck has a 4 on the floor with an inline 6 so I will have to change out the motor, transmission, drive shaft (I think) rear end gears and steering column. All that would take my total budget I have now.....The engine runs good so I will keep it and in turn get the truck painted, lowered and put some rims on it and hopefully get the bench seat re upholstered!
