I have a 540 making 5 psi of boost with a turbo 400 its in a 3800 # car with 31-18.5 slicks , I had 4:11 and changed to 3:73 and it still is a challenge to hook on the street. Blown big blocks make a lot of low end power! Just my opinion
I believe it is at about 10% under driven, I thought that might be a good range for a street truck. The fuel pump is rated at 110gph free flow with 6.5-8.0 psi.. These edelbrocks I hear like no more than 5psi? I plan on installing a AFR gauge to be on the safe side. I'm running the gears that came in the truck ( 3:73 ) but I added a posi unit. I'm sure it will be a tire fryer. Should be an experience seeing how I have never driven a blown anything before.
