Alright, I got this out and gave it the ol' once over. The lid looks rougher then it actually is because all the flaky paint. Its a good candidate for restoration (sand blast, primer and paint). I took some 320 grit sand paper to the roughset spot and it cleaned up nice but a bead blast would do this wonders. There is very small specks of pitting (after i sanded) that primer/sealer would fill. I included a close up of the worst rust on the bottom part as well, doesnt look like nothing a little elbow grease wouldn't take care of. Let me know what you think. Thanks, Curt
