My wagon has a EFI tuneport. I ran a pickup at bottom of tank and a return line to the top. Inline fuel pump. Ran ok, but when you start to get low and take a off ramp or go around a corner, the fuel will slosh away and starve the pump. engine will sputter or die.

I built a new aluminum 20 gallon tank. It has 2 slosh plates about 3/4 up . running fore and aft spaced apart. This allows the fuel to over flow the bulkhead when filling and not come back up the nozzle . On the bottom we cut half circle's in them to let the fuel under.

I bought the Holley EFI retrofit fuel pump with mount. This is super easy to install and very well built. Around $450.00 at summit. Has a Hydro sock. Fuel comes in but not back out! So no baffle needed. Well because I was making the tank I put them in anyways.

I mounted my pump right between the baffles. in the center of the tank and forward as Holley recommended. The sock is off-set, so one side is longer then the other. The short side is forward towards the rearend cover. Long side to the back of the frame.
Let me tell you, it works SUPER! and it is quiet and cool sitting in the tank full of fuel. It has a twist lock setup 9 Little cams that swing out when you tighten the Allen) and is as easy as cutting the hole, install gasket. Cut rod to measured length in instructions and place pump in hole. Tighten all allen heads and your done! NO leaks at all !!!!
The pump does not sit in the bottom! it is above. The sock soaks fuel and bends downward into the fuel, keeping the pump out of the crap on the bottom!
