this is the Trans Canada Highway, pretty much Canada's only national highway coast to coast. hundreds of thousands of vehicles travel it every day, always busy....and look at this, not one single vehicle...it was weird, like we were the last truck on the road...turns out the highway had been shut down and we came on it right in the middle of the shutdown. sadly, about a mile behind us, a pickup crossed the highway into opposing traffic slamming into a toyota head on killing a pregnant mom in the pass. seat...
cant get up the canyon now, so we went down to the Fraser river, it's running too high right now to let dawg out...not to the road yet. quite often this road ends up under 5-8 feet of water
almost the same spot from the river bed last feb. prob about 25-30 feet deep, and real fast....too fast for dawg
so down to the Chilliwack river
