I am using a 1993 Chevy S10 ext. cab chassis under my 1946 cab. The frame is to wide in one area and mine had to be narrowed 5 inches. I have pictures of the frame in my build thread in this section. http://www.67-72chevytrucks.com/vboa...d.php?t=383658 I am also using the S10 steering column, brake pedal, brake booster, gas tank, front end and rear end. The other issue you might have is how wide the engine is and narrow the front nose is but I do not know. Sounds like fun when it is drivable.
