Made some good head way today,pulled the engine and trans,lifted the cab off the frame,and started cleaning and painting a few parts.
Welded and filled the mirror hole's for the smooth body look.
Cleaned and repainted upper and lower a arms,also removed bump stop and bracket on the lower.
Gas tank looks good after 46 years .!! going back with under bad tank,another hole to weld and fill.!!
Bare frame too be power washed and cleaned next week.
Ordered my porterbuilt tubular trailing arms and cross member,Coil over shocks and tubular motor mounts.Going pull the rear end and have it cut 1/12 to 2 inches and start with the rear rebuild first.!! Making head way.!!!!!
