Yep, I had a 71 4X4 that leaked bad. Ended up being the adaptor was cracked. This was in 2002 and the local GM dealer had a new one in stock for $350. Dealers no longer have them on the shelf, that's why I provided the link to where aftermarket adaptors are available.
