I think that's normal for these things. Same with mine. My battery was dead so jumped it and pulled it outside, for the heck of it I decided to leave it running and check under the hood and gas was leaking out of the rubber hose where it meets the filter. Been meaning to put a metal one under the truck inside the frame like a newer truck.
