Progress is good, like the radius on the upper mounts, just that little touch makes a difference. I found a few bolts like that on mine when I took it apart, my lower door hinge pins were already in two pieces and the back front spring shackle bolts were a rattle fit. I would think about a piece square tube the same height as the bed cross braces between the rear spring perchs were the crossmember was removed.
