If you do not have a pump puller which most people reading this will not have you can simply pry the pump out of the case with a screw driver. But be careful. Don’t go crazy prying against the case. In this pic you should notice there is no pump body o-ring, this is a 2007 model 4l60e which has a wedge seal that fits into the trans case.
Continue to pull pump assembly out of the trans case
(To the left in the pic, you will notice the connector for the input sensor which I mentioned in a previous post) "make sure you disconnect this connector prior to removing the pump" only if you have this....
