After looking and thinking a bit more, I have used that same style EZ Wiring kit. It works, but the wire insulation is huge. I was unable to get the connector on successfully. I ended up splicing in a connector off of an old harness. So in your case I would either try to unpin the wires from the crescent connector if they are the same and put the new ones back as suggested above. There is more room in this style than the flat ones so maybe. If you can't do that, I would just cut the end off your old harness and splice the wires with some high quality heat shrinkable butt connectors. You may want to stagger the cuts so the splices are not all in the same place. Just for me I will not use one of the EZ Wiring again, it will be an American Autowire. More money upfront but the wire sizes are better.
