Bad news today. We did find the rear main seal was installed backwards by the PO, in addition to it the rear main bearing looked horrible. I'm going to pull it and go back through the bottom end. The guy I bought the engine from said it had just been gone through - maybe 1000 miles or so and I took his word for it. Interesting.
