No vac problems as of yet, my carb didn't have the port iirc, the fitting I used was from a manifold in the shed and looked right.
Only problem I've heard was Longhorn Man lost the booster diaphragm and the vacuum leak fried the piston on the cylinder under the fitting (see pic 2&3) because the fitting is on the intake runner leading to that cylinder. Connected to the carb would distribute a vacuum leak across all cylinders.
