Here is something to consider: color.
Why? ...a lot of guys (including myself) are drawn to the color that best matches the truck and the general interior....looks great.
(Now, that said my truck is a '72 Highlander and they all got a black carpet, regardless of truck or interior colors...and this is a good thing in a way.....but....)
Now, if you get a color carpet (not black) you will immediately notice any spills (ie: coffee, pop or?) or dirt or grease on it.
If you go with black, this will be a lot less noticeable....
A lot of guys use their trucks only for careful, occasional showing only...and next to zero daily utility use...so its fine if you have that kind of time/attention to keep the carpet stain free.
If you use your truck for around town a bit, maybe have a coffee while you drive....you will have to get a cleaning strategy together.
