OK.... I pulled the steering wheel, Turn signal parts and then the key tumbler, but it appears something else is broken down inside the column

The auto column shifter wont unlock and key just turns loose like something broke down inside. The steering wheel unlocks so you can turn that though

I have a crappy Haynes manual that doesnt say much kinda worthless

(The rack appears to be coming all the way forward and the steering lock releases)( but auto column shifter stays locked and cant move out of park
