Re: Build that 71 402 already

Strange week. First I thought I bought a rare "NOS" piece, but the guy sends me a worn-out piece that looks nothing like the pictures, cuz it aint it. What a comedian.

I finished these intake manifold bolts (below) with POR-15 engine paint yesterday. Never mind the background, that was a failed attempt to spray. I brushed them with happy results. 1" Wooster Pro brush is the ticket, best brush I've used................. I should have finished another 25 parts in black. Was a perfect day to spray, I prepped the parts and hung em, but the hardener Eastwood sent was solid.

FINALLY had a spot on my frame welded up today. Trailer pending, get her powder coated. He welded that and another 8-10 spots on inner fenders, core support etc. Nice work. Dude wanted $25

Going to be a little slow going for a bit. Ex. was just approved for landscape front and back, and dumb dumb volunteered to lead/labor. It's an "easy" one, I've done much more many times, but too old for this Plus it's HOT!

With assys, the guide accts for 1000s of OEM identifications and part numbers, all written in short order. 700+ images include assm, illust., charts, and points of interest. Much of the info. applies to all 67-72 GM trucks, and to a lessor degree all 67-72 GM vehicles. My build thread, and more on the guide https://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/...d.php?t=730025
