I went that way with the small block but there is so much stuff to this new LS that I gave up and decided to go for an all out, purpose-built race look. There is a lot of plumbing (and wiring) on this engine that didn't exist on the old.
Did you do you a heater delete? I don't even see holes for heater hoses on your (very purty) firewall.
