Once fully welded, I trimmed off the excess metal leaving a small .250" max lip. Those 3" square 'blocks' represent my suspension travel. I used them to mock my ride height & establish the proper dimensions for shock brackets. You can also see the OE style truck arms & home-made lowering blocks that I started with....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
