Re: 85 GMC Sierra "Scarlett"

Wednesday night ran in to Thursday morning rather quickly. I was out of time and had to make some executive decisions. I still had not installed the optional front frame braces, or the rear sway bar lower mounts.

I had to repair the rear brake line, adjust the coil overs, install the bed and bolt the wheels on or she wasn't going anywhere.
We decided that the damaged brake line took precedence. Unfortunately it fought me with three trips to different auto parts before finally getting a new line and correct fittings to work.

With the clock ticking we bled and tested the brake repair and deemed it done. I called my neighbor for help and we got the bed in place.

Once more we looked the system over and bolted the wheels back on. She was ready to set on the ground with no time left to install the frame braces. She was as done as she was going to get and still make our deadline to be in Ft. Worth as I had promised.
