For looks or function. For function, the cowl version is better because of the presurized area at the base of the windshield/cowl. You would have to isolate the air cleaner from the underhood air for it to work properly. Being a flat vertical hood, the snorkel/Ram type would be less optimal. They do look cool though.

Here is http://www.usbodysource.com Super Sport Ram air hood. Which you like. I think it would be hard and expensive to get someone to stamp just one in steel though. (this is fiberglass)
