OK Matt you asked. if you remember me body and paint is what I do. Get some epoxy primer that will seal up bare metal I use PPG's Omni line MP175 I thinks is the black epoxy. Also after the epoxy, you NEED high build primer with all the body work you have done. MP282 is that number. You also need some sanding blocks and some guide coat. It does as it sounds it guides you as to what the panel needs. If the GC goes away quickly say in a circle on top of a place. you have a high spot and you need to keep sanding. In contrast if you have som e[GC] that stays around a long time while sanding you have a low spot and you need to put either filler or putty on that spot. Speaking of putty get some Evercoat 2 part putty. It mixes like regular body filler but it dries much quicker and sands like butter. Warm butter on top of that it is awesome.
