Thanks for the reply. The mirrors are going on my 67 GMC Suburban. I plan on driving it a good amount. I like the look of the round smaller ones but I think I'm going to go with the second option as I think it's going to be more usable. Also I assume if I want to put a mirror on the passengers side I won't be able to see the mirror from the drivers seat mounted on the top of the door like that, round style.
