Just got the steel bed floor in me old lonhgorn last summer......she scaled @ 4600, with a 1/2 tank fuel & driver(4340, if I take my 260 lb azz out!). Now most guys will claim around 5000lbs on a longhorn, but she has 1/2 ton underpinnings, no heat/air, no front inners or bumper, alumn heads/intake,no door glass (no comment there Andy  ).....oh & there is 4" of steel missing out of the middle of the top. A 1/2 ton long step that I scaled on a reg basis went 3840,1/2 tank fuel/ less driver. crazy L
