There's a single cab short bed my cousin told me about he wants to buy it but the guy says it needs a head gasket and hasn't said if its a 4.3 or 5.7 tbi.
He's asking $800 but there is no way he'll get anything close to that, interior is trashed, looks like it needs tires, mismatched wheels the driver door is trashed and sliding rear window is cracked. No info on miles has clean title and runs.
What should we offer him because he says obo, we've called around to local shops and the lowest repair price is $750 plus tax.
What is a fair amount to offer since it needs a lot of attention. $500?

What else would we need to check on this truck since it already needs head gaskets?
