I would recommend using a ford D60. Now i know that sounds dumb, but they have vacuum lock hubs. And if you plan on using it where you will need 4 wheel drive, it's kind of nice to just be able to push a button and lock the hubs in, cause it gets pretty annoying getting in and out to unlock the hubs so you can actually steer the darn thing. Not to mention being able have 2wd low, then 4wd low just by a push of a button.
