This next one seems somewhat easy to me. Seems like the hardest part is making it all fit together. Using the stock crank that was removed, should be able to attach 2 arms to it and 2 springs. This way it sits center, but when you push in either direction it will ground out one of the arms, but then spring back to center when you let go.

I'd imagine that is in a nutshell how the linked switches are designed, but trying to figure out in my mind exactly how to make that happen is a bit more complicated. It would be cool to do them in such a way that does not require welding or anything.

What I really like about this so far is that the average guy with limited tools could do it. A grinder/dremel seems like the only special tool needed. No welding skills/equipment required. I hope we....and by that I probably mean you can find a way to keep that up with the switches!
