It’s been quite a while since I’ve had anything to report on the truck, but I finally broke down and made a change. I also dumped Imageshack after numerous photos have been deleted from my build thread. This is my first attempt at using the forum tools to post photos, and I'm having a bit of trouble which will improve in the future. Please ignore all the links below, as I will figure out how to get rid of them soon.
I really liked the 49 Buick style hood ornament I put on a while back (shown here):

But I always wanted the Flying Lady off the 55 Nash cars (minus the ugly wings). I finally found one at a price I could afford, so I picked I up, filled the cut marks in the chest for the wing, painted them silver, gave it a great polish job and slapped it on the hood. My wife really objected before I spent the money, as the Buick ornament went along with the Buick grille and portholes, but I just knew the lady would really finish the truck.
